Richie Carvill is an award-winning editor, director, composer and writer. At the age of 13, he picked up a skateboard and a camera and since then has never stopped making films. Born and raised in Boston, he graduated with a BA in Communication with a focus on film from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Shortly after graduating in 2011, he moved to Los Angeles and started his career in the entertainment industry. 

He specializes in everything from documentaries, commercials, narrative to non-scripted content and has edited a countless number of projects for clients like Amazon Studios, Discovery Channel, National Geographic and Bravo.

Richie is a proud member of the IASTE Local 700 Editors Guild and is always trying to improve his craft. In his free time, he loves snowboarding, traveling and playing guitar.  

Based in Los Angeles but available for projects worldwide.
